Obtained Enslavement, Troll, Infernal Beauty, Tartaros, etc.-- ALL
innovative new raging BM bands whose Extreme Nordic attack is fueled with
neo-classical histrionics! Essential for fans of Abigor, Summoning,
Pazuzu, Amestigon, & Die Verbantenn Kinder Eva's (keeping it "all in the
family")!

Angizia
"Die Kemenaten Scharlachroter Lichter"
Klassisches Musiktheater mit Piano, Violoncello, Flote, Sopran- und Tenorgesang! *translation: Classical (think Mozart, think "Barber of Seville"!) & theatrical music with piano, cellos, flute, soprano (delicate female vocals) & tenor (both "clear" & grim black metal male vocals!) voices. A major progression for this Austrian ensemble that is a vast improvement over their debut (the split-CD with Amestigon also on Napalm). While listening to this you'll want to wear a powdered wig & pinch snuff, no doubt! Weltunmarmende Theaterlandschaften aus Osterreich! *(something about Austria...)
Austrian Import, Napalm Records.
CD ......$15.00
Amestigon/Angizia split CD
Two high-caliber black metal bands from Austria courtesy of Napalm Records on this split-CD clocking in at over 51 minutes. Amestigon is melodic black with some folk elements & atmospheric keyboards ("orchestra stabs"!) similar to those found on Enslaved "Hordanes Land" & "Frost". Angizia is also keyboard-based, but with a much more raw, racing feel, & strengthened by a female vocalist who is competently able to duet with the grim, raspy male vocals of Rune (from Abigor). This CD is sure to satisfy, as both of these great & intense bands on a single release is an unbeatable value!
CD ...... $14.00
