Classic, long-lost Asphyx album (originally recorded in 1990 for CMFT Productions, U.K. which broke up before this album could be released) of classic dark death-thrash influenced by mighty VENOM, Possessed, Hellhammer, Messiah, & early Death (according to the liner-notes, when starting out Asphyx played cover versions of songs by Celtic Frost & Mayhem!)... Some of these songs were released as re-recorded versions on Asphyx's classic "The Rack" album, but this "Embrace the Death" CD consists of the original (raw, no re-mixing here!) material from 1990 that shows the real Asphyx of that time: dark, occult, & heavy as HELL! *(This version presents quality packaging, new dark artwork, & extensive liner-notes on the history of the band)
