"If we are not mistaken, Behemoth is in a class by themselves in Poland. We have heard a lot of Polish Black Metal bands up through the years & a keyword for them all has been: uncreative Norwegianish boring music. Behemoth serves up good Black Metal with a very rich sound & a good production. Many non-musical bands have a too ugly & high vocal, but Behemoth has done it in a good way where the vocals are a part of the music & not a leading instrument. There is a nice fluency in this mini-CD which automatically results in a quite entertaining musical experience. They do have some very good solo's (& we really mean VERY GOOD) at certain times... Behemoth was a very big surprise for us, & as they proved to be something very positive & delivering an absolutely acceptable album we are sure we will hear more from them in the future! This is a MCD with almost half an hour of enjoyable Black Metal greatly inspired by Bathory*..."

This MCD by Behemoth will totally impress fans of Darkthrone, but even I have to stress that Behemoth have their own original approach to brutal Black Metal (& I think this is the main point that the Nordic Vision review tried to project; the main reason for the great review)! Plain & simple: this is ESSENTIAL! *(The Bathory reference is because song #4 "Pure Evil & Hate" is listed as a "Tribute to Bathory"!)
