BLACKMETAL.COM was founded in 1996 as a premier Metal Mail Order service dedicated to deliving the best Black Metal, Death Metal, Thrash and more to your door quickly, efficiently and at the best prices. It quickly grew to become a label and BLACKMETAL.COM RECORDS has released such notorious bands as CLANDESTINE BLAZE, MASSEMORD, MYSTIC FOREST, EIKENSKADEN, DEMONIC CHRIST, SIN ORIGIN, CULT OF DAATH, LUCIFUGUM, ENDLESS DISMAL MOAN, and many more! We continue to release the best metal bands in the world, with upcoming new releases of bands from all over the world, including such diverse countries as Iceland, Italy, Norway, Canada, Japan, and many more!
BLACKMETAL.COM is a 3 person operation (and you thought we were "corporate"?? as if we are Wal-mart or Costco something?!? The name Cybertzara was created by Debbie Jaffe and is a combination of Cyber and Tzara (as in Tristan Tzara the Dadaist poet). Created in late 1994, Cybertzara is the official company name for BLACKMETAL.COM and has been on the World Wide Web for more than twelve years. We have been offering music via quality, efficient, service-oriented mailorder for over a decade (and was one half of the highly respected underground music label, Cause And Effect in the early to mid-'80s). Cybertzara specializes in unique CD releases and the best black metal CDs/LPs/Cassettes/books from the world over. We are dedicated to releasing music and multimedia that fight the banal and mediocre in today's watered-down mass media. We're dedicated to giving the computer user and music listener something to think about instead of anesthetizing them into complacency.

For more than 20 years she has self-produced a unique brand of industrial noise music as Master/Slave Relationship. In that time she's released more than ten cassettes, one vinyl LP, five CDs and one CD-ROM with no government grants or federal funds of any sort, thus maintaining TRUE independence of content and spirit.
Almost single-handedly developing, perfecting and implementing the BlackMetal.com website and shopping cart system, with NO corporate involvement or funding whatsoever, she has not hired any "top guns" or outside professionals, and has created a new standard for online metal shopping. Debbie: "I design it and I modify the system MYSELF because I want to maintain control at all levels.
