"UNDER KRIGEN" is an impressive tour de force for Herr Sykdom and company, unleashing energized brutality that was only hinted at with the previous SYKDOM albums. SYKDOM is re-invigorated with the addition of Icelandic Black Metal veteran Eldur (also of POTENTIAM), who's top-notch vocals run the gamut from brutal thrash to clear Viking tenor. Fans of SYKDOM's previous album "Mjollnir" will be amazed by the rage and aggression pouring out of "Under Krigen"; super-intense, but still retaining the [Bergen-based] Nordic atmosphere inherent in all SYKDOM and MASSEMORD recordings. SYKDOM's must-have third album "Under Krigen (During Wartime)" was completed and mastered in England, in 2006, and is sure to have new fans scrambling for the previous releases that may have inadvertantly slipped by.

	A great smash in the face from the latest album by Sykdom. This cd is straight up Black Metal that will leave you stunned for days. The riffs are brutal yet catchy, the vocals are intense and raw, and the effects are amazing. An excellent release by the very underappreciated Herr Sykdom and Eldur.
