"Black Seared Heart"

Classic, rare tracks from Gehenna in three parts (according to the long & informatively detailed liner-notes):
Part 1-- the "Black Seared Heart" demo which was originally released in a very limited edition of 100 in 1993;
Part 2-- songs recorded in 1994 for an album which was never completed, some of the songs from this abandoned session were lost, the two here ("A Witch is Born" & "Night of the Serpent's Judgement") were re-mixed on an old portable four-track home recorder with the addition of Sarcana's keyboard parts (newly recorded & vastly different versions appear on "Second Spell" which was released by Cacophonous);
Part 3-- bonus track "Midwinter Forest" is really a very old Gehenna song (pre-"Black Seared Heart" demo), prior to being recorded (as a rehersal-only, direct-to-DAT recording) in Winter 1994 was a concert-only song (deemed too different from the rest of the songs), & appears here ("...embrace the raw brutality of this song."-- Gehenna), along with all of the above as a glimpse of the history of Gehenna! *(From Holycaust Records, U.S.A.)
