Personal commentary by J. Del Russi:
INIMICAL: Though many people do not appreciate music that used drum programming, I believe in doing whatever it takes to get the music done. Unfortunately, I did not have access to a drum kit at the time of this recording, and was forced to use a lower-end drum machine. There was another mishap, being that the master tapes were damaged before mixdown. The best was done to remedy this problem, but there was only so much that remastering could achieve considering the quality of the tapes. However, I implore those with depth to appreciate the music for what it is, and listen carefully to what you are hearing, absorbing it and feeling the concepts, as much effort, technicality and atmosphere were put together to create the force that is INIMICAL.

SECT: This album was recorded many years ago on a 4-track and, while the original mixdown was a bit heavier, it was also a bit too 'flat'. I wanted to remaster it to sound more up-front and more raw, and thats exactly how it turned out. Thus, I decided to release this more brutal and more raw remastered version of the entity that is SECT. Put yourself into the music, and you will 'understand'.
