Due to illness, we are extremely sorry to report that the Marduk show has been cancelled.

PANZER DIVISION LIMITED w/shield attached by herve Marduk's History according to Osmose:

1990
Marduk is formed by Morgan whose desire is to create the most blasphemous music ever experienced by mankind.

1991
Marduk releases the demo tape, 'Fuck Me Jesus', which receives enthusiastic praise and creates a strong fan base. The band also creates material for a 7-inch called 'Here's No Peace', but they later decide not to release it because they would rather focus their attention on releasing a full-length album. Also in 1991 Marduk performs their first of many legendary shows.

1992
The debut-album 'Dark Endless' is recorded in June and released on the darkest day of the year in December. During the year Marduk also performs on various locations in Sweden, and the cult grows rapidly.

1993
Marduk signs a deal with the French based label Osmose Productions and records a new album entitled 'Those Of The Unlight', and it is released in October.

1994
Marduk plays overseas for the first time on a black metal festival in Norway. In May/June Marduk's first European tour takes place under the name 'Sons Of The Northern Darkness'. In the autumn a third full -length album is recorded, 'Opus Nocturne', and released at the end of the year.

1995
In February Marduk's second European crusade called 'The Winter War' takes place. 'Fuck Me Jesus' is released as an MCD in April due to the tremendous demand for the recording, which by this time had gained a heavy cult reputation. Because of the title and the artwork on the cover, the release is boycotted in 7 countries. In early June Marduk performs in Mexico, and spends the fall creating new material.

1996
In February Marduk enters the studio once again to record their new album 'Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered', which hits the shelves of record stores in June. In the Autumn Marduk perform in their largest European tour to date. A new MCD 'Glorification' is released during the tour, including a remix track from 'Heaven Shall Burn...' + covers of Bathory, Piledriver, and Destruction.

1997
The Black Metal War Machine, Marduk, attack Europe once again in the Spring on the shorter 'Legion' tour. A live album entitled 'Live In Germania' is recorded in four different locations in Germany (with Hypocrisy's Peter Tagtgren on 2nd guitar!) during the '96 tour. 'Heaven Shall Burn...' is released during the summer and impresses greatly on critics world-wide, proving that Marduk, unlike many, are fully capable of performing their material on stage with the same intensity and feeling as on their studio albums. A single gig is performed with the reformed Mayhem in former East Germany during the mid-summer. The ancient recording 'Here's No Peace' is released on the newly started Swedish label Shadow Records. During the October/November months Marduk perpetuate the upcoming and long awaited precursor of 'Heaven Shall Burn...' entitled 'Nightwing'.

1998
In March the long awaited follow-up 'Heaven Shall Burn', 'Nightwing', sees the light of day and totally lives up to the reputation as the Best Black Metal the scene has to offer, The album wins the hearts of critics worldwide and gains both judgements as a milestone within black metal and one of '98's greatest albums. Immediately after the release Marduk participates on the 'No Mercy Festival' tour and turns out as the winning band in several perspectives. During the summer the band writes new material for the coming album 'Panzer Division Marduk'. In October/November Marduk spearheads another European crusade which goes under the name 'The Black Metal Assault Tour' and once again Marduk proves to be the heavy weight champion of this kind of music.

1999
In February Marduk enters the Abyss studio (with Peter Tagtgren) once again to record a monument to be remembered, 'Panzer Division Marduk'. People who have heard the album claim it to be the most outraging and destructive piece of furious metal of all time. This album shows an even harder side of Marduk with pounding infernal speed with a raw and primitive edge to create the musical equivalent of total war. 'Panzer...' is the concrete evidence that Marduk still embrace their spirit at its inner core and do not get softer and weaker with age. Right now a full-scale world tour is being planned.

Marduk
"Live In Germania"

Long awaited live album b y Sweden's masters of raging Scandinavian Black Metal (on Osmose Productions); an excellent & totally essential anthology featuring the best recordings documenting Marduk's "Heaven Shall Burn" tour throughout Germany!
