4 songs of quintessentially dark & evil Black Metal atmospherics from the Satanic Cult trio from Switzerland (not to be confused with the Greek Nergal) on one side of this classic split LP from 1993. On the other side: 6 hard & totally black(!) Death/Black Metal grind by Bundeswehra from Poland; ambient-heavy songs with martial, battle-ready keyboard support & brutal grim vocals. Again, we have to say that is purely evil & dark (DARK!) music of Extreme BM! Comes with an album-insert of liner-notes & photos, AND two (2) posters! Don't let this obscure gem get past you-- it wont be available much longer!

1995 album from Israel's Salem (not to be confused with the Japanese band with the same name), one of the earliest & most well-respected Blackened Extreme Metal bands, who along with Mayhem & Darkthrone, helped set the stage early on for the cult breakthroughs of post-Bathory Modern Black Metal (Salem had the full support of Euronymous while he was still alive). With this album Salem explore a more melodic attack similar to the Greek BM sound, & a decidedly more doomy, almost gothic Dark Metal approach. This fits well alongside the best from Holy Records, the German extreme Dark scene, or in alliance with the Necromantia/Thou Art Lord axis of Greek power! Destined to be an essential classic-- a monumental juggernaut of Blackened brutality!
