The second of three albums (see review of first album ''Odes'' below) from this uncategorizable Swiss cult band. Eight songs (67+ minutes!) paying tribute to Erzsebet Bathori & Quorthon, this is supremely evil music of blackest doom ambience. With an expanded lineup adding female vocals (!), & a much improved sound production, it's easy to see why ''Csejthe'' continues to impress the many Mordor fans lurking in the woodwork (see the Mordor review in ill Literature Mag). Dirgy organ & keyboards are brought more to the forefront, & the guitar is less distorted, but the plodding heaviness continues relentlessly to transport you to the abyss. With titles like ''Bloody Comtess'', ''Last Demoniac Invocation'', ''Self-Immolation for my Sweet Goddess'', ''In Search of Pure Negation'', & ''The Moment of the Worship of Total Evilution'', recorded between 1991 & 1995, Mordor rates hard & hearty investigation by true BM seekers of pure dark nihilism!

The first Cd (67+ minutes!) of creepy & cold grindy darkness from a mysterious group from Switzerland. Licensed from Dark Industries, this album compiles early recordings from 1990 & a long bonus-track from a limited edition 3-band compilation. Atmospheric keyboards float over sustained power-grind guitar riffs, all set to an oppressive, suffocating doom beat. Low, growly vocals that chant of unspeakable evil complete the horrific ambience.
