Limited Edition (only 666 made!) picture-disc LP,"Anno Domini", the cult album from this legendary Hungarian black metal group, is considered by many to be one of the finest metal recordings of the late 80's. TORMENTOR's unique atmospheric, progressive, & violent sounds proved to be an influence & inspiration on many of the 90's top bands such as Emperor, Dissection (who covered "Elisabeth Bathori" from this album on "Nordic Metal- A Tribute to Euronymous"), & the equally legendary Mayhem (who's "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" album featured Torment
or's vocalist ATTILA CSIHAR in the session). These thirteen brilliant tracks have been released as a CD (see below) & LP (limited to 500 with poster) from Norway & Samoth's Nocturnal Art Productions. This picture-disc features the artwork of Csok Istvan.
Extreme-Subterranea's review: totally essential release, as this is the bridge between 80's old-school thrash & modern Northern-style BM! Intense & raging! Attila's voice is quite good on this album, definitely surpasses his performance on Mayhem's "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" album! Classic, totally memorable songs!

The stunning, groundbreaking debut album by this six-piece band from Hungary (with ties to Tormentor, of course; Attila is credited with the photographs on the cover!) from 1996, on II Moons/Mascot Records. This is heroic & epic Nordic Black Metal with a strong Greek BM melodicism, & strengthened by atmospheric, neo-Gothic keyboards (straight out of the Béla Bártok School of Music as is printed in the liner-notes!). In comparison to the seminal "Pagan Winter" demo, this is a very grim (but cosmic) album that should be considered a classic alongside Enslaved "Eld" or Einherjer "Aurora Borealis"! "Phantoms" rates raves & accolades for Sear Bliss (& Mascot Records) a unique band with a refreshing & appealing sound; get this now! *(My only complaint is that the celestial trumpets don't make an appearance until after the 3rd. song! More trumpet please!)

"The Pagan Winter in the Shadow of Another World"
This new (1997) II Moons/Mascot release by the six-piece from Hungary is actually their 4-song Demo (from 1995) plus a brand new song for a Bonus Track! Again, this is heroic Black Metal with grim (but not screechy) vocals; overall very similar to melodic Greek Black/Death with neo-Gothic keyboards (similar to Cradle of Filth & Hecate Enthroned!) & atmospheric trumpet! The very excellent & tasty trumpet sound gives a very heroic nostalgic feel (similar to the best music by Death In June!) to the racing Nordic ambience! An excellent & essential (very satisfying) recording!
