"Trollstorm Over..." is Nagash's FIRST solo album
(BEFORE he joined Dimmu Borgir)-- it can be described as "primitive" in
comparison to his 2nd. Troll album &/or Dimmu Borgir's albums from
"Stormblast" onward; but in this case, "primitive" does NOT mean terrible
or raw. Troll's first album might even be described as "generic" Norwegian
Black Metal, BUT in comparison to all the wannabe's in other countries all
over the world, "generic Norwegian BM" is STILL vastly SUPERIOR stuff! For
example: as "bad"(?) as albums such as Dimmu Borgir "For All Tid", Dismal
Euphony 1st. self-titled debut full-length album, Gehenna "First Spell",
etc. [are], they are still great examples of typically EXCELLENT
["generic"] Norwegian Black Metal!
