Vondur "Stridsyfirlysing" - From Sweden, comes Abruptum & Opthalamia's main-man, IT's solo
project of Star Wars-inspired extreme metal. Lots of orchestral flourish & crushing
guitar-riffs, you could just imagine Darth Vader's evil forces on the march! Hail
the Dark Side!

VONDUR was formed in 1993 by IT, the creator of such CULT acts as
OPHTHALAMIA & ABRUPTUM. He released one demo tape, & in 1995 was joined by
former Abruptum vocalist, ALL. The unholy duo proceeded to work on the
pure musical armageddon released as "Stridsyfirlysing" (currently STILL
available from Extreme-Subterranea/CYBERTZARA!) & signed a contract with
the Necropolis [Records] Horde. This new mini-CD "The Galactic Rock n'
Roll Empire" (one of the last recordings to feature IT's brillian guitar
talents) was recorded in November, 1996. After this MCD's completion, IT
tragically decided to "leave" the scene. BUT what was thought of as
Vondur's last chapter didn't quite turn out to be the final hurrah-- future
plans see ALL continuing with a completely new psychotic guitar player... &
VONDUR will live on after all!
Details: features Vondur's Rebel Invading covers of Motley Crue's "Red
Hot", Judas Priest's "Rocka Rolla", Elvis Presley's "Love Me Tender", etc.;
IT & ALL are also members of Abruptum, Ophthalamia, & WAR! This new
mini-CD "The Galactic Rock n' Roll Empire" was recorded/produced at ABYSS
Studios by Peter Tagtgren (Hypocrisy, Marduk, Sorhin, Pain, The Abyss, &
WAR!)... *NEW OPHTHALAMIA "A Long Journey" CD currently available [NOW]!!!
