Worshipping The Stone is a fantastic experience, smoking (or consuming in any other preferred way) of the Sacred Plant Cannabis is the primary method of Worship. Other techniques, such as hallucinogens and psychedelics, are used in the Worship also - but these are only used by Stoners wishing to make contact with the Lord of Cosmic Thought, the great addled and confused Logic Master - The Acid Elephant!
The ideal Worshipping mind - state is a relaxed, all-loving, happy and positive attitude. Once The Stone has been contacted the person is then always aware of it's existence, and The Stone of their's.
BOOK TWO
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away there was a brilliant
planet called Wode. Wode was a wondrous and beautiful home world for a race
of peace-loving people, who, for obvious reasons were called Wodeans. Ever
since the dawn of their civilisation they had Worshipped The Stone with the
Sacred Plant Cannabis, which was found growing wild in the deep woodlands
with luscious green leaves and fantastic, brightly coloured sticky
buds. All day, every day, the people of Wode would smoke their intricately
carved water-pipes, consume vast quantities of the many natural
psychedelics found on their home world and sip from oaken urns filled with
a brew made from apples. This brew was called Cy-dere, or, in a more potent
form, Scrumme Py. The entire life of an adult Wodean was spent in the hazy
company of The Stone.
There was an official body of clerics dedicated to the Worship of
The Stone. A large number of Orders all gathered together as one in the
Psychedelic Monastery of The Druids of The Stone. The labyrinthine
corridors and bizarrely decorated rooms of the enormous Monastery were
always enshrouded in a dense, sweet-smelling smoke that emanated from the
hundreds of Krashowt Chapels and Trance Rooms. Two miles away from the
Monastery was the Grove of Meditation trees - the Holiest, most Sacred
place in the entire Universe. From this Grove the Clerics of The Stone
would enter the magical Trees and, in a trance-like state, their soul/mind
would travel vast distances through the beautiful meadows of Space and
arrive at the Deepest Temples of Space, the nineteen Hallowed Worshipping
Halls. The dwellings of The Stone.
BOOK THREE
THE TALE OF WODE, THE CELTS and STONER GROOVE.
Once upon a time, at 4:30 a.m., on the magical blue star-planet of
Wode, a Druid shuffled out of a Meditation-Tree. Plumes of sweet smelling
smoke wafted around him as he moved, his limbs heavy and his eyes red after
spending ten days Worshipping within the tree. In his trance state his mind
had left his body and travelled great distances until it reached one of the
Deepest Temples of Space (of which there are nineteen, and not twenty three
as some misguided minds will tell you!), the Hallowed Worshipping Halls of
the Clerics of The Stone, the religion of the folk of Wode. The Druid's
name was Duir Siladh-clann, the Arch Keeper of The Stone. The Highest Sage
of The Religion of The Stone. The Grand Stoner. Within the particular
Deepest Temple of Space that he had been Worshipping he had encountered The
Man, a mysterious person/being that was the link between humanity and the
great force-The Stone. The Man told Duir Siladh-clann of an important event
in the history of the Wodean folk, the event of The Prophecy of Leaving.
Many moons previously a young woman had just consumed Sacred
Waeout, an important part of The Ceremony of The Mushroom - a three month
long ceremony performed by Stoners during the Highly Holy months of
September, October and November (or, roughly translated back into the
original tongue, Samionos/Dumannios). Two or three hours after starting the
ceremony she told another present that she could "...see The Man before my
(her) eyes...He's dancing on the Acid Elephant...singing a strange
song...of our people leaving Wode...because of the coming of an evil force
to our beautiful world...the Anti-Hippy and his Illee Gal, a tribe of
strange beings on a mission to destroy The Stone and It's many
Worshippers." And now, The Man told Duir Siladh-clann, was the time of
great departure.
So now the Grand Stoner was rushing back to the Psychedelic
Monastery of The Druids of The Stone, two miles away from the Grove of
Meditation Trees. After stopping to Worship The Stone a few times (he
always carried his water-pipe and various other Holy Artifacts in his small
Green shoulder pouch whenever he left his rooms) he arrived back at
Psychedelic Monastery four days later.
After days of trying to persuade the entire population to leave the
planet the Wodean Wood-Ships were ready to depart. Men, women and
children. Young and old. All boarded the ships, many still muttering about
Duir Siladh-clann taking too much Assieed (potent shamanic chemical found
in the roots of the Hoffman plant, deep in Wode's dense Lysergia Woods)
during his recent Space-Out in a Meditation Tree!
Soon afterwards the beautiful blue star-planet of Wode was deserted,
it's gentle folk driven off by the Illee Gal and their master the
Anti-Hippy with his terrible evil magic, the "G-Force". A terrifying power
that confused, ridiculed and disorientated unwary minds.
And so the Wood-Ships, laden with thousands of Stoners, enough food
for a month and all the neuro-active plants and chemicals and fermented
brews they could carry, drifted lazily off into Space, the almighty
vastness that holds all...
THE TALE OF WODE, THE CELTS and STONER GROOVE.
Deep within the magical Wodean Wooden Mothership the team of
Navigators lay unconscious on the floor of the Control Chamber. Their minds
linked together by a combination of psychedelic potions, trance-meditation
and luck, the nineteen Finders of The Path guided the fleet of 2,000 ships
slowly through the vastness of Space - looking for a suitable planet for
their people to populate. The Druid, who was Duir Siladh-clann, Arch Keeper
of The Stone, the Highest Sage of The Religion of The Stone, the Grand
Stoner, was also in a psychedelic trance. He had projected his mind out
into one of the Hallowed Halls used by the Stoner Clerics to Worship - the
Nineteen Deepest Temples of Space. The semi-deity/guru called The Man (a
magical, mystical being always encountered during Worship in the Deepest
Temples of Space, and The Stone's voice to mankind) stumbled out of the
Shadows of The Temple and began a strange dance.
Laughing and giggling He told Duir Siladh-clann that the living
consciousness of a planet far away had contacted The Stone to offer itself
as the new homeworld for the people of Wode, and that The Stone wanted to
let It's people know that this planet was perfect. The Man then told him
how to get there, and it all depended on the state of mind of every person
aboard the 2,000 magical Wood Ships. They all needed to consume vast
quantities of their religion's basic Worshipping aid - a green, leafy plant
(or a brown resin made from extracts of said plant) called Cannabis, or
given it's Ceremonial name, POT! This would enable the planet to contact
the collective consciousness of the Wodeans and help the nineteen
Navigators (all clerics of the Finders of The Path) find the planet.
Days later the people of Wode began opening sleepy eyes, stretching
aching limbs and trying to remember who and where they were. All the food
aboard the ships had strangely disappeared whilst they were under the
influence of POT (Wodean religio-slang termed this state of mind
"stoned"). A young Ponderer of The Weird Things in Life cleric said that he
believed a tiny parasite called Muun Chi had been brought aboard the ships
with the food, and that these Muun Chi's had ravaged the food whilst the
people were indulging in Cannabis. But this didn't matter when the Druid
Duir Siladh-clann contacted all ships to say that they were now in orbit of
their new planet. Initial soul-scientific investigation showed abundant
plant life (including thousands of known and unknown
neuro-active/psychedelic species), water and food sources. The Wodeans then
landed, and they were pleased with their new home.
The Man told Duir Siladh-clann that the planet had said that it's
name was Urabalaboom. Soon the turquoise skies of Urabalaboom echoed with
the voices of thousands of people singing Hymns. The Hymns to The Stone...
THE TALE OF WODE THE CELTS and STONER GROOVE.
Thousands of years had passed since the people of The Stone had
been forced to flee their beloved homeworld of Wode - a brilliant blue
star/planet of magical and mystical enchantment. Guided by The Stone the
Wodeans eventually came to live on a planet that called itself Urabalaboom
(eventually deciphered by the Clerics of Mumm-Blin Bolocs to mean The Door
to Chapel Perilous"). Anyway, in recent times a number of clerics had begun
to sense a disturbing Force deep within the Deepest Temples of Space. A
Force that disturbed their meditating minds and confused their
thoughts. The Anti-Hippy had invaded the Nineteen Temples, and his evil
"G-Force" was trying to disturb the peace-loving People of The Stone.
The Druid Duir Siladh-clann, the Arch Keeper of The Stone, Highest
Sage of The Religion of The Stone, the Grand Stoner was worried. He lay on
the floor in a Krashowt Chapel and began trying to get up. Two hours had
passed when he finally emerged from the Chapel's entrance, his eyes were
red and half closed. He shuffled off down a dark corridor, enormous beard
swaying over the large silver cross around his neck and his strange
Clerical hairstyle hanging down his back in a heap of matted chaos. This
was it, he'd had enough, the Anti-Hippy must be stopped.
When Duir Siladh-clann arrived at The New Grove of Meditation Trees
he sat on the ground and emptied the contents of his Ceremonial Green
Shoulder Pouch onto the grass and prepared to enter the deepest Worshipping
state possible, to get as Stoned as he could. The final cone of POT
disappeared in a flash of light into his water-pipe (his was a finely
crafted one, an article passed down from Grand Stoner to Grand Stoner for
millions of years, it was the legendary Bing!), he then entered one of the
Trees and travelled to the Deepest Temples of Space.
Everybody on Urabalabooom was aware that the Battle had commenced,
The Stone informed them. They felt bizarre thoughts in their minds, and The
Stone was worried for It's people. The Man appeared to the people - His
first materialisation outside of the Space Temples, and the first time
anyone other than Clerics and Prophets had seen Him. He danced around a
patch of enormous mushrooms, banging a tambourine and calling all the
people to him. He said they would have to leave Urabalaboom. The mind
vibrations from the Great Battle of The Ancient Ones would be too great if
they stayed on this world. So, with great sorrow the Wodeans left their
homeworld for a second time. The living consciousness of Urabalaboom
contacted each and every person, saying how sorry it was that it's beloved
adopted children must leave and that it would always love them.
Again the magical Wood Ships drifted through Space, the Navigators
lay in unconscious mind-link in the Mothership's Control chamber, guiding
the 2,000 ships ever onward.
Massive Bad Vibes were hitting the ships, from the Great Battle of
The Ancients taking place in The Deepest Temples of Space, and the
Navigators lost control of the fleet of Ships. The Higher Intelligence
Order of The Stone (the highest Clerical order, of which Duir Siladh-clann
was Grand Stoner!) told all folk to begin Stone Worship and ask for The
Stone's protection as the Wooden Ships fell, out of control, through
Space. Enormous quantities of beautiful Sacred Cannabis was consumed, and
all the Wodeans entered the Deepest Temples of Space for the first
time. The great influx of United Stoned Consciousness linked with Duir
Siladh-clann in his battle with the Anti-Hippy's "G-Force" and banished the
evil force deep into the Temples.
The Stone was pleased. The Stone was pleased. The people of Wode
awoke on a strange planet. Green and fertile, yet strange. They found
themselves encountering a race of people who had no love for The Stone -
even though The All Powerful, All Knowing Force had manifested on this
planet as the Sacred Plant Cannabis and hundreds of other psychoactive
plants. The Stone told them what to do. They must disperse amongst the
population and tell of The Stone. Of The Stone's love. To sing the Hymns.
The religious Stoner Clerics and Crazed Stoner Berzerks (a new
warrior class made from men driven insane by the Mindwarps of the Great
Battle of The Ancients, and formed to protect the Stoner Wodeans from
hostile peoples) continued to live separately from the rest of the Wodeans
(who spread out across the rest of Earth, to pass the word of The Stone to
all) and took the name Celts. The history and legends of the Celts have
been passed down through generations and their reputation for insane battle
techniques (naked, blue and weaponless) is renowned. The Celts painted
their hair and bodies with a blue dye "which they called Wode in
remembrance of their beloved home planet. The beliefs and customs of the
Celts are those of the Wodeans, preserved by the Clerics (or Celts as we
know them) for thousands of years on Earth.
And so the Wodeans came to live on Earth, in the year 2,000
B.C. Over the thousands of years since, many on Earth have been introduced
to The Stone, and there are now many, many Stoners.
The people of The Stone.
